Parvaiz Elahi dismissed from the party post : Chaudhry Shujaat

The chief of Muslim League-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, has dismissed the president of Punjab League-Q, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi from the party post, while the former chief minister of Punjab has also been expelled from the core membership.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain says that Parvaiz Elahi's membership has been dismissed for calling an unconstitutional meeting. In this regard, a notice was sent to Parvez Elahi on January 16, to which he did not respond. A statement was also given by Parvez Elahi to merge the Muslim League-Q into another party.

An important meeting between PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Parvaiz Elahi is scheduled today in which a decision is likely to be taken regarding the merger of Muslim League-Q into PTI.
