After the Hualien earthquake, according to statistics from the Central Disaster Response Center as of 7 a.m. this morning, there were a total of 2,441 disasters across the country, resulting in 9 deaths, 1,038 injuries, 96 people trapped, and 48 missing people.
Among them, 3 people are still trapped in Zhonghe Mine of Hualien Heren Mining Area, 5 employees of Jingying Hotel and 24 tourists are trapped in Jiuqu Cave, and 64 people are trapped in the Heping Mine.

Among those who have lost contact are 1 person at Zhonghe Mine in Hualien Heren Mining Area, 42 employees at Jingying Hotel, 1 person at Xiaozuilu Trail, 1 person at 170K on Provincial Line 8, 2 people at Dongwei Company at Ci'en Station, and Tianxiang There is 1 person in the youth activity center.
In addition, 924 people have been evacuated nationwide and 277 people have been accommodated.
The fatalities include: a slope clearing construction worker was killed by a falling rock at 183K on Provincial Highway 8; a driver was killed by a falling rock at 181.5K on Provincial Highway 8; 3 climbers were killed by falling rocks on the Dekaron Trail in Hualien County; A man was hit or buried by falling rocks and died in Xinxin Heren Mining Area, Daqingshui Recreation Area (Province 9 Route 161.3K) and Provincial Route 9 160.7K respectively; a female resident died after the Hualien Uranus Building collapsed.
