The Anti-Terrorism Court today issued a warrant for the release of Sanam Javed. The court issued the warrant after sanctioning Sanam Javed's bail bond. The court officials went to the jail with a robe. Sanam Javed's bail was also granted in Rahat Bakery Jalao Ghrao case. Media sources have said that Sanam Javed is likely to be named in another case and arrested.
Yesterday, the Lahore High Court disposed of the request to get the details of the cases filed against Sanam Javed in the light of the police report. Justice Ali Baqir Najafi of Lahore High Court heard the request of Sanam Javed, IG Punjab and others were made parties in the request and the position was taken that details of all the cases filed against Sanam Javed should be provided.
During the hearing, the public prosecutor presented the police report in the court and told the court that there are only two cases registered against Sanam Javed in police station Sarwar Road. While hearing the petition filed to get the details of the registered cases, the court sought reports from the parties while the court rejected the request to stop Sanam Javed from being arrested in any secret case.
