Mohammad Pakpour, the newly appointed head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has issued a strong statement following the death of his predecessor in a series of Israeli airstrikes overnight.
In his remarks, Pakpour warned that Israel will "face a bitter and painful fate" and that the consequences of its actions would be “huge and destructive.”
The statement also emphasized Iran’s determination to “avenge the martyrs” killed in the attack, accusing Israel of violating Iran’s national security and territorial integrity.
The Israeli strikes reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least six nuclear scientists and several high-ranking Iranian military commanders, marking a serious escalation in the ongoing regional conflict.
