A student from Okara, Pakistan reached Saudi Arabia on foot and obtained a Hajj visa. According to the details, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has said on the social media website Twitter that Usman Arshad, a student who reached Saudi Arabia on foot from Pakistan, has received a Hajj visa. Communication student Usman received a warm welcome, Usman was met by Pakistan DG Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro in Saudi Arabia, Director General Hajj appreciated the wonderful journey of the Pakistani student and presented him with gifts as recognition and encouragement.


On this occasion, Abdul Wahab Soomro said that Usman Arshad is a unique example for Pakistani youth. In view of this, Pakistan Hajj Mission played an important role in issuing the Hajj visa of Usman Arshad. Where the Hajj Mission is providing all kinds of facilities to the pilgrims, accommodation, food, and transportation facilities are being provided to the pilgrims and now 70 thousand pilgrims have reached Makkah from Pakistan.

It has been learned that Usman Arshad started his journey from Okara on October 1, 2022, and reached Saudi Arabia successfully completing his journey on April 13, 2023. I traveled a distance of 5 thousand 400 km, crossing the borders of 3 countries to reach Saudi Arabia, he used to walk 35 to 60 km daily, during this campaign, Usman Arshad spent 8 lakh 50 thousand rupees, in Saudi Arabia Facing difficulties in obtaining a Hajj visa, Usman sought help from the Director General of Hajj, Abdul Wahab Soomro, as the issuance of Hajj visas had not yet started when he left for his holy journey, and he obtained an Umrah visa.
