UAE has allowed 3 days weekends for workers. According to Khaleej Times, the UAE government has introduced new regulations for employees working in the federal sector, which will come into effect from July 1, 2023.
These regulations allow three-day weekends for such employees. who complete a maximum of 10 hours per day, four days a week during work, this is called a compressed working week.
It is learned that the compressed working week is one of the five working models announced for government employees in the UAE under the Human Resources (HR) Law, Cabinet Resolution No. 48 of 2023, effective July 1.
