Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori visited Olympian Arshad Nadeem's home in Mian Channu on Sunday to congratulate him for winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
During his visit, Tessori praised Nadeem for bringing pride to Pakistan, saying he has made the country proud with his talent. He announced that Arshad Nadeem will be the brand ambassador for the upcoming Karachi marathon, which will start in January and include around 60 events.
Speaking to the media, Tessori highlighted Pakistan's potential, stating, “Our country is full of talented people who are among the best in the world.” He expressed confidence that Pakistan could achieve more success and emphasized the need for teamwork to help the country grow. “This is our nation, and together we will move towards development and prosperity,” he said.
Tessori thanked the people of Mian Channu for their warm welcome and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the public. “I am very grateful to the people of Mian Channu for their kind reception,” he stated.
He also mentioned that the Governor’s House in Sindh is open to everyone and that they are there to help people. Additionally, he praised the leadership in Punjab, particularly Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, for her efforts in improving the province. “Maryam Nawaz is doing a great job in advancing Punjab's development,” he added.
